MLB Note - Texas Rangers Gardewine, Nick

Aug 22, 2017 - 6:55 AM RHP Nick Gardewine was called up from Double-A Frisco on Monday, replacing injured RHP Matt Bush (sprained right knee). Gardewine has spent the entire season at Frisco, going 2-1 with a 2.41 ERA in 30 appearances, averaging 13.4 strikeouts per nine innings. His first appearance with the Rangers will mark his major league debut.
