MLB Note - Minnesota Twins Sano, Miguel
Aug 22, 2017 - 6:55 AM 3B Miguel Sano was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left shin stress reaction. Sano fouled a ball off his shin on Friday night and left the game in the seventh inning because of soreness. The move to the disabled list is retroactive to Sunday. Manager Paul Molitor said he hopes Sano's stint is limited to 10 days, but because of the type of injury, it was difficult to pinpoint how long Sano could be out. "I would think the fact that it kind of intensified over a short period, I'm hoping that you can calm it down rather quickly, too. But it's something that when he returns, we're probably going to have to be a little careful with how we use him."No one has shouted yet.
