MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Chisenhall, Lonnie
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM OF Lonnie Chisenhall, who has been on the disabled list since July 14 with a strained right hamstring, was close to being activated, but then Chisenhall missed nearly a week of rehab to be with his wife, Meredith, who gave birth to the couple's third child on Tuesday. Manager Terry Francona said Chisenhall will join the Indians on Friday, and a decision will be made then whether he will be activated off the DL or whether he will play in a minor league game Sunday on a rehab assignment. "He hasn't played in a game since Saturday," Francona said.No one has shouted yet.
