Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM OF Rajai Davis was acquired from the Oakland A's in a trade that sent minor league OF Rafael Rincones to Oakland. Davis, 36, was hitting .233 with Oakland, with five home runs and 18 RBIs. Davis, who led the American League with 43 stolen bases last year with Cleveland, has 26 steals this year. "He's a guy with postseason experience, and adds the speed element," Red Sox manager John Farrell said. "He's a good fit for us at a really important time." Farrell said Davis will play center field. He is expected to join the team on Thursday.
