MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Kipnis, Jason

Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM 2B Jason Kipnis was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring, the Cleveland Indians announced Wednesday. The 30-year-old Kipnis, who is headed to the disabled list for the third time this season, had just returned two weeks ago from a month-long stint on the DL. He grounded out in the first inning of Tuesday's 9-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox and was replaced by a pinch hitter in the third. Kipnis is batting .228 with 11 homers and 30 RBIs in 79 games this season.
