MLB Note - Cincinnati Reds Chacin, Alejandro
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM RHP Alejandro Chacin made his major-league debut Wednesday night and allowed a two-run homer by the Cubs' Tommy La Stella in 1 1/3 innings of relief. Chacin had his contract selected from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday after not allowing a run in his previous eight appearances for the Bats. "Every promotion he's gotten he's deserved based on how he performed at the previous level," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "It's really the American way. He's earned everything he's gotten to this point. I admire him for it."No one has shouted yet.
