MLB Note - New York Mets Lugo, Seth

Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM RHP Seth Lugo (right shoulder impingement) participated in a "touch and feel" session Wednesday. Presuming Lugo reported no problems, manager Terry Collins said the next step for Lugo would be to throw in the bullpen Friday. A successful bullpen session would make Lugo a candidate to start one of the game of the Sunday doubleheader against the Nationals. Lugo was placed on the disabled list Aug. 15 (retroactive to Aug. 12). He is 5-3 with a 4.85 ERA in 12 games (11 starts) this season.
