MLB Note - New York Mets Conforto, Michael

Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM OF Michael Conforto returned to the starting lineup Wednesday, when he went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles in the Mets' 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks. Conforto sat out Tuesday due to a sore right thumb. Neither he nor manager Terry Collins were concerned about the injury, which they blamed on overuse after Conforto played in the Mets' first 37 games following the All-Star break. Conforto is batting .280 with 27 homers and 68 RBIs in 109 games this season.
