MLB Note - San Diego Padres Gore, MacKenzie
Aug 24, 2017 - 8:04 AM LHP MacKenzie Gore lost for the first time in six starts in the Arizona Rookie League on Tuesday night, although he fanned seven and allowed just one run in four innings. Gore, the franchise's first-round pick in June's draft, is off to a splendid start as a pro, whiffing 31 and permitting just 13 hits and four walks over 20 innings. It's early, but Gore could be the guy this franchise finally guesses right on with a high draft pick.No one has shouted yet.
