Aug 24, 2017 - 8:03 AM LHP Drew Pomeranz, who hasn't lost since June 11, pitched into the sixth inning, allowing no runs and striking out nine to push his record to 13-4. "He gave us more than we anticipated," manager John Farrell said. "On a night when there was no margin of error, going against (Corey) Kluber, Drew was outstanding." Indians manager Terry Francona tipped his cap to Pomeranz. "He was throwing his fastball up, getting it past our barrels, and had a very good curveball. He really gave us fits," Francona said.
