Torreyes is batting .328 since the All-Star break, but he's likely to see his playing time reduced significantly. Starling Castro (hamstring) is close to being activated from the disabled list. Manager Joe Girardi said he'll try to keep Torreyes active when Castro returns. "What it does in these long stretches is it allows you to keep guys fresh," Girardi said.
