MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Lindor, Francisco

Sep 17, 2017 - 9:22 AM SS Francisco Lindor had three hits, including a two-run double in the sixth inning. The double came on a pitch up and away. The switch-hitting Lindor, batting left-handed against RHP Jason Hammel, hit the ball off the left field wall. It's his third double in as many days off the left field wall while batting left-handed. "The pitch was middle, away. So I'm doing what the pitcher tells me to do (by his pitches)," Lindor said. It's the 10th consecutive game in which Lindor has had an extra-base hit, which is a team record. Lindor is hitting .383, with six doubles, two triples, nine home runs and 22 RBIs since Aug. 24. "He's got a ton of tools, he's a hard worker, and he's a smart kid," manager Terry Francona said. "He's one of the better players around, because there are so many ways he can impact the game."
