Sep 18, 2017 - 9:24 AM OF Aaron Hicks (strained left oblique) took swings via tee and toss Sunday and could take batting practice on the field this week. Hicks began activities last week by running and throwing, and he could return by the end of the regular season. Hicks has missed a combined 53 games with two oblique strains. He was placed on the DL Sept. 3, a day after making a running catch at the center field warning track on Boston's Hanley Ramirez.
