MLB Note - Boston Red Sox Pedroia, Dustin

Sep 19, 2017 - 8:11 AM 2B Dustin Pedroia left in the fourth Monday due to a nasal contusion. He fouled a pitch off the plate, and it bounced into his nose.

He stumbled away and went down to his knees, clutching the area around his nose. The Boston medical staff came to check him out, and Pedroia was able to walk off and left the game. He replaced by Brock Holt, who then doubled on the next pitch.
