"Needed to get him back in there, especially with the type of first half he gave us, to give a shot in the arm," Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said. "And give Carp (Matt Carpenter) a day to reboot." Gyorko has a career-high 64 RBIs. He went 0-for-4 on Tuesday night.
