MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Hays, Austin
Sep 20, 2017 - 9:12 AM RF Austin Hays has been with the Orioles two weeks after coming up from Double-A Bowie. But he made his sixth start Tuesday, including both games of this series, and went 1-for-4 with a double. Hays is hitting .304 with a four-game hitting streak and certainly has shown a good throwing arm in center and right field, plus he's aggressive on the base paths. "That part of it I really like that he's anticipating taking an extra base," Orioles manager Buck Showalter said. "But he's played under control pretty well with that. It's not a reckless aggressiveness so far."No one has shouted yet.
