MLB Note - Oakland Athletics Maxwell, Bruce
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:26 AM C Bruce Maxwell underwent concussion testing after being struck in the mask by Jose Iglesias' foul ball in the ninth inning Wednesday. Maxwell caught a couple warmup pitches, then was removed from the game after looking woozy. He had two hits and two runs scored. "He went through all the protocol," manager Bob Melvin said. "Right now, it doesn't look like a concussion at this point. We'll probably know better in the next couple of days. More sore on his face, because of where the impact was, which was right in the middle of his face."No one has shouted yet.
