MLB Note - San Francisco Giants Belt, Brandon
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:26 AM 1B Brandon Belt (concussion) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list in order to create room on the 40-man roster for RHP Pierce Johnson, who was claimed off waivers on Wednesday. Belt has not played since Aug. 5 and has been ruled out for the season. He retains the team lead in home runs with 18.No one has shouted yet.
