MLB Note - New York Yankees Hicks, Aaron
Sep 21, 2017 - 9:26 AM OF Aaron Hicks (strained left oblique) is slated to start taking batting practice Thursday in Tampa. If there are not any setbacks, Hicks will appear in a rehab game Monday in the instructional league and could return by the end of next week. Hicks has missed 17 games since being placed on the DL Sept. 3, a day after making a running catch in center field on Boston's Hanley Ramirez. Hicks is hitting .265 with 13 homers and 48 RBIs in 82 games. He also missed 39 games with a strained right oblique from June 25-Aug. 9.No one has shouted yet.
