Dodgers 3B Turner (thumb) day-to-day
Sep 21, 2017 - 10:51 PM Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner is day-to-day with a bruised right thumb after being hit by a pitch during Thursday's victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.The Dodgers announced that X-rays were negative.
Turner was hit by a pitch from Mark Leiter Jr. in the first inning of the contest. He initially stayed in the game before being pulled prior to the bottom of the second inning.
It is unknown if Turner will available for Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Turner, an All-Star, is batting .321 with 21 homers and 70 RBIs this season.
