MLB Note - St. Louis Cardinals Valera, Breyvic

Sep 22, 2017 - 8:38 AM INF Breyvic Valera was recalled from Triple-A Memphis on Thursday. It's his second stint with the Cardinals this season. He played in 800 career minor league games over eight seasons before arriving making his major league Sept. 5 at San Diego. He collected his first career hit, a pinch-hit single, two days later. He was optioned to Memphis on Sept. 11.
