MLB Note - Texas Rangers Mazara, Nomar
Sep 22, 2017 - 8:38 AM OF Nomar Mazara was out of the lineup Thursday night as Delino DeShields took his place in left field. Rangers manager Jeff Banister said the move was a combination of giving Mazara a night off to rest a sore quad, along with removing the left-handed hitter against Seattle LHP James Paxton. For the season, Mazara has hit .296 with 19 home runs and 96 RBIs, but he's only hit .228 against lefties this season. No one has shouted yet.
