MLB Note - Cincinnati Reds Schebler, Scott
Sep 22, 2017 - 8:38 AM RF Scott Schebler hit his 28th and 29th home runs of the season Thursday night. It was his third career multi-home run game, second this season. Schebler was batting leadoff for the first time this season. He's made seven career appearances including five starts in the leadoff spot, batting .261 with a .299 on-base percentage. Billy Hamilton is working his way back from a fractured thumb and Jesse Winker was moved to fifth in the order on Thursday. "He's got a little bit more speed, and with the way Winker is swinging the bat, there's more protection for (Scooter) Gennett," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "With this particular group of players, that seemed to make the most sense."No one has shouted yet.
