MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Bell, Chad
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM LHP Chad Bell made a relief appearance Friday night, a signal that his days as a Detroit starter are finished for this season. Bell made four starts and allowed 16 runs in 15 1/3 innings (9.39 ERA) but in his Friday night inning he struck out two of the three batters he faced in a 1-2-3 frame. With RHP Jordan Zimmermann and LHP Daniel Norris returning to the rotation, Bell and RHP Myles Jaye are the two being replaced.No one has shouted yet.
