MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Rivero, Felipe
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM LHP Felipe Rivero, Pittsburgh's closer, worked the ninth inning on Friday night and took the loss, allowing two runs and three hits, although a fielding error by SS Jordy Mercer exacerbated things. Rivero got a win Wednesday but was making just his fourth appearance since his last save, his 18th, on Sept. 5. "You have to be ready every time," Rivero said. "It doesn't matter. You can be two months without a save. You have to be ready anytime."No one has shouted yet.
