MLB Note - Baltimore Orioles Jimenez, Ubaldo
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM RHP Ubaldo Jimenez made what might be his final start as an Oriole at Camden Yards on Friday night. His four-year contract ends following 2017, and Jimenez allowed a grand slam to C Wilson Ramos in the second inning en route to an 8-3 loss. Overall, Jimenez (6-11) gave up six runs on eight hits in just three innings. The big right-hander was repeatedly booed as he never found the consistency needed to pitch better. "What happened tonight? He had two pitches that were four runs," manager Buck Showalter said. "The 0-2 hit by pitch and the home run. A couple ground balls that trickled through and the next thing you know we're down 4-0."No one has shouted yet.
