MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Clevinger, Mike
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:44 AM RHP Mike Clevinger has been moved to the bullpen, Indians manager Terry Francona said. Francona added that the move was a prelude to Clevinger being a bullpen arm in the postseason. "The reasons is we're going to try to assimilate him because we kind of think he can be a weapon, but we want to give him a week to fit in out there," Francona said. "... He's not been banished to the bullpen, he's been sent to help us win and he understood why." Clevinger is 11-5 this season with a 3.13 ERA in 118 innings. No one has shouted yet.
