MLB Note - Texas Rangers Gonzalez, Miguel
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:46 AM RHP Miguel Gonzalez (8-12) allowed one run on four hits over six innings Saturday night in a 1-0 loss to Oakland. Gonzalez, who made his fourth start since being traded by the White Sox to Texas, struck out five and walked none. He gave up a solo home run to A's LF Khris Davis leading off the second. "Miggy did a great job," said acting manager Steve Buechele. "He made one mistake to Davis, first-pitch homer, and then I believe the rest of the inning was a ground ball through the shift, a blooper down the right field line and a hit batter. He had bases loaded and nobody out and did a heck of a job to work his way out of there and actually cruised the last four innings."No one has shouted yet.
