MLB Note - Chicago White Sox Abreu, Jose

Sep 24, 2017 - 7:45 AM DH Jose Abreu went 1-for-4 with two RBIs to reach 100 RBIs this season. He joined Joe DiMaggio and Albert Pujols as the only players with at least 25 home runs and 100 RBIs in their first four major league seasons. Abreu also joined DiMaggio, Pujols, Al Simmons and Ted Williams as the only players with at least 100 RBIs in their first four major league seasons. "It was nice," White Sox manager Rick Renteria said. "I think as much as all the different things are going on for us as a team and as an organization, you still have one guy that continues to be now, for the fourth season, a part of an elite class."
