MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Mahtook, Mikie
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:45 AM OF Mikie Mahtook may be finished for the season after receiving a diagnosis of a Grade 2 left groin strain suffered Friday night. Manager Brad Ausmus said Saturday it's likely Mahtook will not play again. "I'm not frustrated," Mahtook said. "I think I had a great year." He came to Detroit in a winter deal with Tampa Bay, rejiggered his swing in the spring became a regular early in the season. Mahtook hit .276 with 12 home runs and 38 RBIs in 109 games.No one has shouted yet.
