MLB Note - Washington Nationals Zimmerman, Ryan
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:46 AM 1B Ryan Zimmerman (general soreness) sat out his second straight game Saturday, when the Nationals beat the Mets 4-3 in 10 innings. Manager Dusty Baker said Zimmerman is still feeling the effects of a head-first slide against the Atlanta Braves earlier this week. Baker added he expected Zimmerman to also miss Sunday's series finale in hopes of having him fully rested and healthy for the playoffs. Zimmerman is batting .302 with 34 homers and 103 RBIs in 138 games this season.No one has shouted yet.
