Sep 25, 2017 - 8:56 AM RHP Randall Delgado (elbow) will have a platelet-rich plasma injection Thursday in an attempt to promote the heading of his flexor tendon, an injury that was diagnosed by team physicians two weeks ago and confirmed by Dr. James Andrews. "It sucks, but it is the best thing," Delgado said. Minnesota RHP Bartolo Colon and former Arizona RHP Rubby De La Rosa are among those who took the treatment. "We want to get him healed as quickly as possible," manager Torey Lovullo said. "The idea is that he will be ready for spring training."
