MLB Note - Washington Nationals Cole, A.J.
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:54 AM RHP A.J. Cole will make his third start of the month Monday night, when he takes the mound for the Nationals in the opener of a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Cole, who has been utilized when the Nationals go to a six-man rotation, took the loss in his most recent appearance and start Sept. 16, when he allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings as the Nationals fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2. He is 1-1 with a 3.63 ERA in four career appearances (two starts) against the Phillies.No one has shouted yet.
