MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Taillon, Jameson
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:55 AM RHP Jameson Taillon, starting for the Pirates against the Cardinals on Sunday, lasted just five innings, but ended up with the victory and his fourth efficient performance -- one run, four hits, six strikeouts, one walk -- in his last five starts. "You always want to finish strong," he said. "That was my goal I committed to in September, specifically after that little layoff (after testicular cancer surgery) I had. I really wanted to finish strong, so it felt strong to have a good one."No one has shouted yet.
