MLB Note - Cincinnati Reds DeSclafani, Anthony
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:55 AM RHP Anthony DeSclafani is making progress in his effort to be ready for spring training. DeSclafani threw 64 pitches over three innings in a simulated game on Saturday. The next step is for him to pitch five innings and 80-85 pitches in an instructional league game. "I'm hoping to see him pitch when I get home (to Arizona)," said Reds manager Bryan Price. DeSclafani was the club's projected Opening Day starter before suffering an elbow injury late in camp.No one has shouted yet.
