MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Fried, Max
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:55 AM LHP Max Fried will make his third start of the season Monday in a doubleheader against the Mets. The rookie is trying earn consideration to join the rotation in 2018. Fried (1-0, 4.41 ERA) is considered a starting pitcher, although he has been used in the bullpen this year. His last start came on Sept. 3, when he beat the Cubs in Wrigley Field, allowing one run over five innings. He has made one relief appearance against the Mets, pitching a scoreless inning.No one has shouted yet.
