MLB Note - New York Mets Reyes, Jose
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:54 AM INF Jose Reyes continued his strong September on Sunday afternoon, when he went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and two stolen bases as the Mets fell to the Nationals, 3-2. Reyes swiped second and third base in the fourth inning for his second multi-steal game of the month and season. He also stole two bases against the Houston Astros on Sept. 3. Reyes is batting .316 with five homers, 16 RBIs and eight stolen bases in as many attempts this month. He ranks fourth in the National League with 24 stolen bases, which are the second-most in team history by a player 34 years or older. Hall of Fame OF Rickey Henderson had 37 stolen bases at age 40 in 1999. Reyes is batting .246 with 14 homers and 56 RBIs in a team-high 139 games this season.No one has shouted yet.
