MLB Note - Oakland Athletics Olson, Matt
Sep 25, 2017 - 8:55 AM 1B Matt Olson came out of Oakland's 8-1 victory against Texas on Sunday in the bottom of the seventh inning for a pinch hitter because of hamstring tightness. Olson strained a hamstring while stretching for a throw from SS Marcus Semien to complete an inning-ending double play in the top of the sixth inning. Olson has 24 home runs this season. A's manager Bob Melvin said he won't know until Monday whether Olson would start against Seattle in the opener of a three-game home series.No one has shouted yet.
