Sep 26, 2017 - 9:47 AM C Gary Sanchez hit his 33rd homer, and it's the most by a player who caught at least half of his games at catcher since Javy Lopez hit 43 for the Atlanta Braves in 2003. It also is the most by a catcher age 24 or younger since Mike Piazza slugged 35 in 1993 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In his last 19 games, Sanchez is hitting .342 (27-for-79) with six homers and 14 RBIs with a .381 on-base percentage and an OPS of 1.014.No one has shouted yet.
