MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Foltynewicz, Mike
Sep 26, 2017 - 9:47 AM RHP Michael Foltynewicz (cut right index finger) is likely done for the season. Braves manager Brian Snitker said prior to Monday's doubleheader against the Mets that Foltynewicz is still dealing with the injury he suffered while pitching against the Washington Nationals on Sept. 14. If Foltynewicz can't pitch this week, his start would likely be taken by either RHP Lucas Sims or LHP Max Fried, both of whom started during Monday's doubleheader. Foltynewicz is 10-13 with a 4.79 ERA in 29 games (28 starts) this season. No one has shouted yet.
