MLB Note - Toronto Blue Jays Donaldson, Josh
Sep 26, 2017 - 9:47 AM 3B Josh Donaldson, who went just 3-for-22 on the just-completed homestand, homered in the first inning and smacked a two-run double in the second inning Monday night. The homer was his 14th first-inning blast of the season, tying him with Gioncarlo Stanton for the MLB lead and snapping last year's career high of 13. He went 3-for-3 with a walk and the homer was his MLB-leading 22nd since the All-Star break. "He was hobbling pretty good in that first half," said manager John Gibbons. "Of course he missed a lot of time. But he's an impact player." Donaldson has homered in four straight road games.No one has shouted yet.
