MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Gonzalez, Carlos

Sep 26, 2017 - 9:48 AM RF Carlos Gonzalez said he was available to pinch hit Monday, and did so in the ninth and struck out. He injured his left shoulder in the sixth inning Saturday night at San Diego when he unsuccessfully dove for a ball Austin Hedges hit near the foul line. Gonzalez stayed in the game but did not play Sunday. Before Monday's game, manager Bud Black said, "We're going to see how he goes through the rest of the afternoon and early evening. But he's feeling better, much improved. Yesterday a lot of treatment, more treatment today. We'll see how he progresses. That will be an in-game decision if he's available or not."
