MLB Note - Pittsburgh Pirates Taillon, Jameson
Oct 1, 2017 - 7:38 AM RHP Jameson Taillon, who dealt with testicular cancer earlier this year, went seven innings in his last start of the year Saturday at Washington. He gave up only one run on four hits and would have been the hard-luck loser had not the Pirates rallied for four runs in the top of the ninth for the win. Manager Clint Hurdle said it may have been the best start of the year for the Florida native, who ended up with a 4.44 ERA. He was 8-7 in 25 starts this year.No one has shouted yet.
