MLB Note - Toronto Blue Jays Goins, Ryan
Oct 2, 2017 - 5:51 AM IF Ryan Goins drove in the final run of the season for the Blue Jays with an RBI grounder just in front of home plate in the eighth inning of Sunday's win over the Yankees. While Goins batted .237 in a career-high 143 at-bats, he had an interesting season against the Yankees, whom he drove in 12 runs against. On May 1 in New York, Goins hit the team's first two-run sacrifice fly. On Sept. 22 in Toronto, he hit a grand slam against RHP Masahiro Tanaka and pulled off the hidden ball trick on 3B Todd Frazier.No one has shouted yet.
