MLB Note - Texas Rangers Mazara, Nomar
Oct 2, 2017 - 5:52 AM OF Nomar Mazara collected a two-run single in the eighth inning to give him 101 RBIs. He is just the second Texas player since 2013 to have a 100-RBI season, joining Adrian Beltre from 2016. Only five Texas players have had 100-RBI seasons since 2007. Mazara would rather be in the playoffs than have 100 RBIs. "That's what we're going to play for, play to win it all," he said. "But we've got some talent in here, looking forward to next season and try to learn from this season."No one has shouted yet.
