MLB Note - Arizona Diamondbacks Ray, Robbie
Oct 8, 2017 - 8:07 AM LHP Robbie Ray lasted just 4 1/3 innings and got the loss in Saturday's Game 2 loss to the Dodgers in the NLDS. Ray dominated the Dodgers during the regular season, going 3-0 with a 2.27 ERA in five starts. But he struggled with his command from the outset -- he gave up four hits and walked four. "I thought the fastball velocity was exactly what we thought it would be," Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said. "He was just spraying it around a little bit and never found a rhythm where he could attach with that itch and work off a breaking ball."No one has shouted yet.
