MLB Note - Arizona Diamondbacks Greinke, Zack

Oct 10, 2017 - 8:24 AM RHP Zack Greinke gave up three runs on five hits, including two homers, before being knocked out of the game on Dodgers C Austin Barnes' homer leading off the sixth inning Monday in Game 3 of the NL Division Series. Greinke walked five and struck out four. He threw 29 pitches in the first inning and finished with 105. He got three swinging strikes. "(The Dodgers) are ready to hit, which is tough, but they're not chasing the pitch you want them to chase," Greinke said. Greinke had not walked more than five in a start since July 3, 2013, in Colorado, when he walked seven. "Fastball command was probably the worst thing," Greinke said. He made six starts for the Dodgers in the 2013-15 playoffs, and all were quality starts. He gave up as many as three runs only once.
