Oct 10, 2017 - 8:24 AM -LHP Chris Sale provided a valiant 4 2/3 innings of relief Monday against the Astros in Game 4 of the ALDS before ultimately taking the loss. Sale, who started Game 1, kept the Red Sox ahead in one-run game before giving up the tying home run to Alex Bregman in the eighth and later being charged with the winning run. "I was trying to get him out in front. It didn't work," Sale said of the changeup he threw to Bregman. Sale (0-2) allowed four hits and struck out six.No one has shouted yet.
