MLB Note - Cleveland Indians Encarnacion, Edwin
Oct 12, 2017 - 7:45 AM DH Edwin Encarnacion returned to the lineup for Game 5 after missing the previous two games with a sprained right ankle. "I watched him in the cage (during Tuesday's off day), and if I wouldn't have been looking (for some sign of the ankle bothering him), I wouldn't have known that something was going on. So I thought that was a really good sign," manager Terry Francona said. Encarnacion, who hit 38 home runs with 107 RBIs in the regular season, was 0-for-4 in Game 5 and 0-for-7 in the three games he played in the Division Series. No one has shouted yet.
