MLB Note - Houston Astros Gurriel, Yulieski

Oct 17, 2017 - 6:36 AM DH Yuli Gurriel saw his six-game postseason hit streak snapped when he went 0-for-4 in Game 3 of the AL Championship Series on Monday. Gurriel batted .500 (11-for-22) in the streak, which ended with three flyouts and a strikeout. He was robbed of an extra-base hit by RF Aaron Judge in the fourth inning and then flied out to center field twice. He was the first player in team history to get a hit in his first six playoff games. He also was the second player in team history to hit safely in the first six games of a postseason. The other was Lance Berkman, who opened the 2004 postseason with a nine-game hitting streak.
